Good morning, Lily Bee fans! Melissa and Cindy here to kick off your week with a sketch challenge.
This week we are featuring projects that mix all of Lily Bee's new collections- Autumn Spice, Persnickety, and Christmas Cheer- to show how well they can all work together.
Cindy's gorgeous layout uses die-cut doilies in place of the circle element, and she's given her photos a playful tilt to break up the straight lines of the sketch.
Supplies: Autumn Spice (Paper: Nutmeg, 6x6 Tiny Tablet), Christmas Cheer (Paper: Reindeer Games & North Pole, ABC Cardstock Stickers, Mixed Cardstock Stickers, Journaling Index Cards) & Persnickety (Paper: Ritzy & Picky, 6x6 Tiny Tablet & Journaling Index Cards)
I went with more white space on my layout, opting to compress the photo block and the layers above and below it into one piece, leaving lots of the background paper showing through. I used die-cut stars as the main embellishment in my birthday themed layout, scattering them in a diagonal line down the page and across the photo block.
Supplies: Autumn Spice (Paper: All Spice, ABC Cardstock Stickers), Christmas Cheer (Paper: Peppermint, Hot Cocoa, Frosty, Index Journaling Cards) & Persnickety (Paper: Finicky, Snooty)
