Hi everyone! Deanna and I are here bringing you more winter-inspired projects using the new Destination collection. Today, we bring the topic indoors. Let's face it, sometimes it is too cold to venture outside. It doesn't mean we can't grab our cameras and snap the everyday activities that help us pass the time.
Deanna created this clean and graphic page that really puts the focus on the adorable photo!
In describing her project, Deanna says, "One thing I really love about Destinations is that while it's has a travel theme, it's not so theme-y that it can't work for everyday life too, especially for little boys. This is a picture of my little guy playing with his "choo choo", which Destinations works perfectly with. I love the mixture of neutral colors with fun arrows, vintage cars, and woodgrain patterns. They work so well with little boy toys. So while this may be a travel collection, keep in mind that it's definitely versatile too."
Deanna used the new chipboard pieces including the buttons and banners along the bottom of her photo.

I had the same thoughts and used those cute circles from the Passport paper. However, I punched mine out and made them an integral part of my design.
I wanted to convey how creative my children were on this day as they worked together and developed their own books. I integrated several of the travel theme items, yet put a different spin on them. The chipboard camera represents how they were stopping and capturing their mental images. I used the baker's twine to connect each circle to the camera. I love how the Destination collection has all these great phrases and words that can work for a variety of topics.
To make each circle pop, I used foam squares under each one.
