Sketches Revisited: Summer Solstice

Hello everyone! Leslie and I are here to share more inspiration using the fabulous sketches this month with our "Summer Solstice" theme for this week. We focused on favorite summer activities.

Leslie used the PageMaps sketch for June for her layout.

Leslie says, "By changing up a few things on the sketch, like clustering my title and embellishments, along with the position change of my photograph really makes the layout bring on a life of its own."

Supplies used: Pinwheel (Embellishment Bundle, 6x6 Paper Pad, Chit Chat Stickers, Circle & Tag Stickers, Letter Stickers, Label Stickers, Lemonade Stand Paper, Flip Flops Paper, Sprinklers Paper), Destination (Embellishment Bundle, Chit Chat Stickers, Circle & Tag Stickers, Chipboard Stickers, Letter Stickers, Tickets Paper).

We have many favorite summer activities but boating always signals the start of the summer fun and inner tubing is my daughter's favorite activity at the lake so I decided to use a photo from our first lake trip this summer for my layout. I used the Lily Bee card sketch for my layout.

The repeating squares made it easy to put together this layout. For one of the squares I used my Silhouette to cut out a repeating circle pattern and backed it with colorful patterned paper. I carried the circle theme through the entire layout with the pinwheel and sticker embellishments.

Supplies used: Destinations (Luggage, Circle & Tag Stickers), Pinwheel (Cherry Blossoms, Apricot Tree, Picnic Basket, Flower Box, Chipboard Stickers, Embellishment Bundle, Chit Chat Stickers), Sweet Shoppe (JuJuBe, Lollipop).
