Hello and welcome to cards on Wednesday. Wendy Sue, Adrienne, and I each have cards to share with you today.
First, let's see what Wendy Sue did. Wendy sue says she decided to scraplift a card created by one of our very talented recent guest designers, Mitchell Kraft.
She just loved the design of Mitchell's card - the simple white card base and the diagonal lines full of color and fun! She carried her design a bit further up the card, but the basic layout is the same. Here's her card.
Lily Bee Supplies: Sweet Shoppe (6x6 tablet, chit chat stickers, chipboard stickers, circle & tag stickers, twine from embellishment bundle)
Thanks so much, Mitch, for the inspiration!!
Next, is Adrienne, and both of the cards she did for today.
For her first card, she scraplifted my layout below entitled, "Time for Tea Dear" because she really liked the diamond design I made with the patterned paper squares.
And here are her cards. She only used two on her card because of the smaller size and added some embellishments on the left for visual balance.
Supply List - Destination (Luggage Patterned Paper, 6x6 Tiny Tablet, Chipboard Stickers, Label Stickers, Embellishment Bundle), Pinwheel ( Circle & Tag Stickers, Chipboard Stickers), Sweet Shoppe (Embellishment Bundle)
For Adrienne's next card, she scraplifted Nicole's layout below because she thought the circle cut file would be a perfect background for a card.
Here is how Adrienne's card came out. She loved how Nicole used some of the speech bubbles from the Flip Flops patterned paper so she added a couple of them my card as well.
Supply List - PInwheel (Flip Flops Patterned Paper), Destination (Luggage Patterned Paper, Bon Voyage Patterned Paper, 6x6 Tiny Tablet, Chipboard Stickers, Embellishment Bundle)
And I chose to scraplift Nicole Nowosad's style. She uses a lot of cut pieces to quilt together for backgrounds.
I had Fall on my mind also for these cards, but the designs and ideas were inspired and scraplifted from Nicole. The first is a simple stitched grid with punched out pieces of patterned paper.
Sweet Shoppe (6x6 Tiny Tablet), Pinwheel (6x6 Tiny Tablet, Chit Chat Stickers, Chipboard Stickers), Destination (6x6 Tiny Tablet, Chipboard Stickers, Label Stickers)
And the second fills the front more with one inch squares, I cut to make triangles and then pieced back together.
Sweet Shoppe (Label Stickers, ), Pinwheel (6x6 Tiny Tablet, Circle & Tag Stickers, Embellishment Bundle), Destination (6x6 Tiny Tablet, Chipboard Stickers)
Thank you for joining us today for our scraplifted cards! Hope you find some inspiration today and join us the rest of this week for more scraplifting ideas.
