Happy Monday! Welcome to a new week at the Lily Bee blog! This week we are talking about inspiration! It comes in many shapes and forms, sizes and colors. I always find the greatest inspiration first in the photos I am working with. But the paper and products come in a close second. The right motif or sticker can trigger an idea.
For my layout, I knew I wanted to focus on the idea of girls. To celebrate all things pink and frilly, I went with polka dots and flowers. Featuring the reds helped me to decide on the other complimentary colors.
I loved the idea of polka dots do much that I made my own dots and scattered them vertically on the page. I layered brads and circle stickers.
I placed the largest circle and the chipboard flower near the photo. To add some texture, I tied twine through the banner sticker. I love to use numerals on my pages so I incorporated one into my title.
Supplies: Sweet Shoppe (Papers: Licorice Whip, Lollipop, Gumball, Pink Mint); 6X6 Tiny Tablet; Circle & Tag Stickers; Chipboard Stickers; Chit Chat Stickers; Letter Stickers; Embellishment Bundle); Destination (Embellishment Bundle Twine)
I think the page is as bright and cheerful as the moment that is featured in the photo!
Speaking of inspiration, don't you just love the new fall collections?! I cannot wait to be inspired by that paper and product!
This is gorgeous!! LOVING the colors and all the circles!!
