Happy New Year everyone! As we start 2014, I am jumping into the past by pulling out an older photo and some retro Lily Bee items.
Do you remember those fabulous sheets of large rub-ons that used to be in the older collections? I put one to use on my most recent layout.
I used this photo of my children from a few years ago. They have made the shift from "babies" to "kids".
I pieced together some words and letters from the rub-ons to create my title, Time of Change. I then layered some new and some older embellishments like the Daily Deck Card and the chipboard flag.
To add some color to my very neural page, I cut a sheet of the We R Family paper called Family Heirloom. I cut along the strips that are already in the paper. I then cut each strip along the diagonal side of the triangle. I staggered the length of each one to frame the page.
Supplies: We R Family (Papers: Family Heirloom, Mother Daughter, Family Ties, Sibling Rivalry; Daily Deck Card; Sweet Spots Enamel Dots; Wood Veneer); Sweet Shoppe: (Chipboard Sheets; Chit Chat Stickers); Catching Fall (Rub-ons)
I hope you are looking forward to the new year as well as reflecting on the good of the past!
