Kit Club Feature: Gossamer Blue + Lily Bee EXCLUSIVE Designs

We're back today with more inspiration from the Lily Bee Design and Gossamer Blue Design Teams. 

Kristen and Lori recently collaborated to put together an amazing kit this month, full of Lily Bee Design Sweet Shoppe and new papers and a stamp exclusive to Gossamer Blue. Happy Friday!  Summer is in full swing here in Utah-my boys out of school and 90 degree weather already here.  Love this time of year and hope the sun is shining wherever you are.

Our team was thrilled to team up with Becky Fleck's Page Map Blog this month and hope you will come and participate.  Here are the details:

To enter, create a layout based on the sketch below, in any size, any orientation, any way you want to interpret it and using any products you would like. Post a comment on this thread with a link to your entry. The contest starts today and ends at midnight, Sunday, June 30, 2013 (MST). This contest is open to US and Canadian residents, or anyone with a US or Canadian mailing address.

 

CHALLENGE WINNERS

During May we teamed up with Scrapbook Circle Monthly Kit Club for a challenge.  Thank you to everyone who participated.  It is always difficult choosing a winner but I LOVED Misty Willis' "A Friend in Me" layout.

Gossamer Blue Challenge & Giveaway

If you haven't heard yet, our fearless leader, Kristen and Gossamer Blue kit club owner, Lori Gentile, collaborated recently to create new Lily Bee Design EXCLUSIVE papers for the Gossamer Blue June Main Kit. The kits and add-on kits also include papers and embellishments from our Sweet Shoppe collection and a stamp designed by Kristen for Gossamer Blue.  You can read all about it and see design team inspiration HERE.

We thought it'd be fun to offer up a challenge to Lily Bee and Gossamer Blue fans! When you think of Summer, what comes to mind? Perhaps it's the sound of waves crashing on the beach, perhaps it's watermelon & cold lemonade or maybe it's a great camping adventure. Whatever it is, we want to see your SUMMERTIME layouts.

Check out this amazing summertime layout by Lori Gentile. I love how she mixed and layered all the patterns together and how the photos pop with the framing details. If this layout about spending time at the pool doesn't get you in the mood for summer, I don't know what will!

I created this layout about my daughter. We spent the day at a local park and then hit the zoo on Mother's Day. After our picnic, we decided to feed the ducks and I snapped this random photo of my sweet girl, who was full of sunshine & happiness that day. 

I love to layer and couldn't resist forming sun rays peeking out from behind the photo.

Kit Club Feature: Gossamer Blue + Lily Bee EXCLUSIVE Designs

We're soo excited to show you something we've been working on behind the scenes. It has a little something to do with this month's featured kit club and the word "exclusive". First, let me tell you a little bit about Gossamer Blue...

Located in California, Gossamer Blue is a monthly crafts club dedicated to inspiring and motivating memory keepers and crafters alike. Not only is a fabulous box of well-coordinated crafting products shipped to your door each month, you will also find valuable, exclusive resources and incentives for inspiring and motivating you all month long. We believe our job has only just begun after the kits ship.

Founder & Designer Lori Gentile launched Gossamer Blue in 2012, after nearly a decade of designing and coordinating for scrapbooking kit clubs and manufacturers. Lori’s twelve-year career in Corporate America and her subsequent years in the Scrapbooking Industry have taught her to value organization and customer service above all else.

The Gossamer Blue June Main kit includes a wonderful variety of papers and embellishments from several great manufacturers, including Lily Bee Design. 

Our very own, Kristen, owner of Lily Bee Design, collaborated with Lori and designed two EXCLUSIVE papers for the main kit and a fabulous stamp for one of the add-on kits! These are not to be missed!Take a look.

Kit Club Feature: Scrapbook Circle (and a Giveaway too)!

Kit clubs are such a wonderful way to get the latest and greatest selection of scrapbooking papers and embellishments delivered to your door each month. Lily Bee Design works with many kits clubs so we thought it would be fun to create a new Kit Club Feature here on the blog to highlight them.

I'm excited to introduce you to our first Featured Kit Club. I've worked with Scrapbook Circle for several years now and owner, Lisa, has a great eye for pairing the right color combos, patterns and embellishments together each month while keeping on top of the latest trends. The design team gallery for each month's kit serves as a great source of inspiration, delivering creativity to you daily. Here's a little more about Scrapbook Circle:

We love creating monthly kits and feel lucky that we've been able to create kits for the past seven years! One of our favorite things about our kits is that it gives us an opportunity to interact with so many creative and fun people. We also love the challenge of packing as much as possible into each kit with products that we can't wait to use ourselves. We create exclusive Scrapbook Circle products like printables, tags and flair that you can only find in our kits.
